CBSE Direct Recruitment 2025
The CBSE Direct Recruitment 2025 offers diverse job opportunities under different cadres, such as Assistant Secretary, Assistant Professor & Assistant Director, Accounts Officer, Superintendent, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Accountant, and Junior Assistant. Candidates will be selected through a Computer-Based Examination (Tier-I & Tier-II) followed by an Interview or Skill Test depending on the post applied for. The online registration process began on 2nd December 2025 and will continue until 22nd December 2025 through the official CBSE website, https://www.cbse.gov.in/.

CBSE Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Group A Posts
- Assistant Secretary: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University
- Assistant Professor & Assistant Director (Academics / Training / Skill Education): Postgraduate Degree with 55% marks (or equivalent). Desirable – B.Ed./M.Ed., NET/SLET, Ph.D.
- Accounts Officer: Bachelor’s Degree with Commerce/Accounts/Economics or MBA (Finance)/CA/ICWA; experience in Accounts and Audit preferred.
Group B Posts
- Superintendent: Bachelor’s Degree with working knowledge of MS Office and database handling. Typing speed 35 wpm (English) / 30 wpm (Hindi) qualifying only.
- Junior Translation Officer: Master’s Degree in Hindi with English or vice versa and Diploma in Translation / 3 years’ translation experience.
Group C Posts
- Junior Accountant: 12th Class with Commerce/Accountancy/Business Studies/Economics and typing speed 35 wpm (English) or 30 wpm (Hindi).
- Junior Assistant: 12th Class or equivalent with typing speed 35 wpm (English) or 30 wpm (Hindi).
CBSE Recruitment Age Limit 2025 (as on 22.12.2025)
- Group A: Up to 35 years
- Group B: Up to 30 years
- Group C: Up to 27 years
Age Relaxation:
- OBC (NCL): +3 years
- SC/ST: +5 years
- PwBD: +10 to 15 years (as applicable)
- Ex-Servicemen & Women: as per Government of India rules.
How to Apply for CBSE Direct Recruitment 2025?
Step 1: Visit the official website at https://www.cbse.gov.in/.
Step 2: Go to the “Recruitment Portal” and select “Direct Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online.”
Step 3: Register yourself by entering a valid email ID and mobile number to generate login credentials.
Step 4: Fill out the online application form carefully with personal and academic details.
Step 5: Upload scanned copies of your photo, signature, and certificates as per notification specifications.
Step 6: Pay the application fee using online payment gateway.
Step 7: Preview your form and click “Submit.”
Step 8: Download and print the acknowledgment slip for future reference.
CBSE Recruitment 2025 - Application Fee
- For Group A posts, the application fee is ₹1750 for candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories.
- For Group B and Group C posts, the application fee is ₹1050 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates.
- Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and Women categories need to pay only ₹250 as a processing fee.
- The fee must be paid online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
- Offline or cash payments will not be accepted under any circumstances.
CBSE Recruitment 2025 - Selection Process
Selection will be carried out through the following stages:
Tier-I (OMR Based Objective Exam):
- 100 questions – 300 marks – 2 hours.
- General Awareness & Current Affairs
- Reasoning & Mental Ability
- Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation
- English and Hindi Language Skills
- Computer Proficiency
Tier-II (Written / Descriptive Test):
- Subject-specific exam including essay, precis, and administrative topics depending on the post.
Interview / Skill Test:
- For Group A – Interview (30–50 marks).
- For Group B & C – Skill Test (typing or translation) – qualifying in nature.
CBSE Recruitment Salary Structure 2025
- Group A: Pay Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500)
- Group B: Pay Level 6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400)
- Group C: Pay Level 2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200)
- All posts include DA, HRA, and Transport Allowance as per 7th CPC rules.
